Acknowledgement and Appreciation
Donors of Land of NoyaBondor High School:
Donors of Land for NoyaBondor High School (1975): when we talk about our Noyabondor school, we should remember the great men of our area who donated their land to establish the school. Among these unsung individuals, the first person who offered his land was Late Alhaj Abdul Warid, also known as Hazy Kona Takoor of Johir Pur. He donated thirty decimal of land. Then Late Shah Modossir Ali Manik Miah donated thirty decimal of land. Late Abdus Salaam Chowdhury also known Tuttan Miah donated fifteen decimal of land. Late Alhaj Abdul Noor donated fifteen decimal of land. Mrs Awlad Miah (wife of Late Awlad Miah) donated seven decimal of land. We are very proud of them and we pray to Allah for their maghfirat and may Allah grant them Jannat.
Total land donated was 97 decimals and all who donated land were from the village of Johir Pur.
To the readers of this page:
Dear readers,
Assalamualaikum, we welcome you to our website. We’d like to draw your attention to this particular page which is designed to acknowledge & appreciate the selfless acts of individuals of the Noyabondor area. Some of them have passed away and some are still with us. The names which are included in this page are those we know who have sincerely tried to make a change and to improve and develop our area.
The Noyabondor area what we see today is not the area what it used to be half a century ago. At that time, Noyabondor Bazar and Noyabondor School did not exist, there were no roads for communication, people used to travel on foot in the dry season and by boats in the rainy season.
There was a place called Hori Pur Bazar where people used to go to buy and sell goods twice a week (Sunday & Wednesday), which used to start only in the late afternoon and finish at nightfall. Apart these two days, there were no shops to buy daily necessities. The transformation of our area to the present state was not the act of a single person or within a single year. It has developed and gradually evolved over many years since 1968 by the forward thinking great people of our area. Those who have passed away we remember them with due respect, and those who are with us, we wish them good health and a long life. However if we hurt anyone, cause any grievance to anyone unknowingly and unintentionally, and if we write any information incorrectly, please accept our apology.
The development of our area occurred through several phases. The first phase was to establish Noyabondor Bazar in 1968. The second phase was to establish Noyabondor High School after a few years in 1975. The third phase (the present one) was to transform the high school into a collegiate in 2012. However, some names may be missed out as we have not got any past record. Please note: that this page is not to undermine anyone, nor to underestimate anyone’s work, nor is it to deface the actual history of the Noyabondor area, or not to defame anyone. The sole aim of this page is to make the present and future generations to know and learn about the selfless acts of many individuals and to follow them in their life.
There has been a lot of efforts, many selfless acts, donations and contributions by individual. We wish to appreciate and acknowledge them.
